We are very glad to inform you that the 2nd International Conference on "Sebaceous Gland, Acne, Rosacea and Related Disorders - Basic and Clinical Research, Clinical Entities and Treatment" will be held in Rome, from September 13th to 16th, 2008. After the 1st International Conference on "Sebaceous Gland, Acne and Related Disorders", 11-13 April 1997, in Berlin it became time to meet again in order to discuss the huge developments on this interesting field. Seborrhoea, acne and rosacea are common clinical problems; they represent, indeed, the most frequent group of skin disorders requiring treatment by dermatologists and other physicians. In addition, the global interest on the physiology and pathology of the sebaceous gland, the major skin organ involved, rapidly increases due to the current knowledge that sebaceous gland is not only targeted by acne but through its multiple functions represents "the brain of the skin".
